Teak (or Tectona grandis) is a high-quality precious wood recommended for naval carpentry, the manufacture of boat decks but also for the production of luxury furniture, outdoor fittings (deck, hammam, garden furniture, etc.), and construction, without forgetting the artistic field (use of roots for example).
The diversity of soils in Costa Rica allows us to offer a variety of colors ranging from blond to black-veined brown.
In addition, our teak is rot-proof because it is saturated with natural teak oil and therefore has a very strong resistance to water. It does not fear bad weather, insects, or termites.
Teak is a semi-hardwood which makes it easy to work with; its fibers are straight and rigid with a tight grain allowing a very smooth finish.
